This is to ensure speed of service, increased security and ease of transactions at the many Bars, Food Outlets and Vendor Stalls. Most importantly, there will be no need to wait in lines, counting out coins to buy a beer, as your friends get thirsty for your round!

BBF is a 100% cashless event; this year we are partnering with Square PayWave systems to bring you a more user-friendly experience – no more lining up for top-ups or refunds. All you need to bring with you is your credit card or bank card or phone with PayWave capabilities and away you go. As such, all food and drink purchased at the Beer & BBQ Fest will need to be paid for using the simple, tap-andgo Square PayWave system. No cash at this event at all.

The Beer & BBQ Fest is a ‘cashless’ festival. To buy food and drinks at the event you’ll need to use your PayWave capable card or phone on our Square systems.

It’s super simple to use – just like using PayWave at the pub – make sure you bring your credit card, bank card or phone with PayWave capabilities to the festival and have money in your bank! Then let the exhibitor know what you would like to purchase, they will ring up the transaction on their device. Then tap your card against the Square device at each stall and bingo, the transaction is complete, start enjoying your beers!

The approximate Price Guide at the Beer & BBQ Fest is:

120ml sample of any beer or cider: from $2.50

Full 360ml Handle of beer or cider: from $7.50 (depending on the ABV%)

Food: $5.00 – $20.00

Beer and BBQ Fest is in winter. Whilst most of the Fest is contained under shelter shelters with open fires throughout the outdoor areas it is still likely you will be cold. Dress warm and bring your party boots. The show will go on rain, hail, snow, blizzard or shine.

To ensure you don’t miss out you will need to pre-purchase tickets for each session. When the session is sold out it is sold out! If there are tickets left for any given session they will be available on the door, but this is not guaranteed.

Note we do have group buying discounts so get your friends together and buy your tickets early to avoid disappointment!

Children under the age of 10 accompanied by a parent or guardian are permitted in free. Tickets for minors aged 11-17 years of age are $15. Simply purchase the Adult/Child Bundle for the ‘Hair of the Dog’ session or pay at the gate. Strictly 1 (one) minor per parent or guardian permitted. This applies only to the Sunday session only; all other sessions are strictly 18+

Your favourite four-legged friend will be able to join you at the ‘HAIR OF THE DOG’ Sunday session. If your dog isn’t dog and people friendly, we recommend you leave them at home.

Yes we do! We offer a 10% discount when you buy 10 or more tickets in the same transaction. Head to our Eventbrite page and simply choose it as a ticket option. If you have a group of 20 or more contact us and we can help organise a further discount.
